Found Him

I grew up as a first generation child to Czech immigrants in the Bay Area of California. As kids, my brother and I were dragged through art museums by my mother and her friends. To 8 year old me there was no place more boring than an art gallery. Just the price of being a kid I guess. Yet year after year they tortured us with this “tradition”.

Recently we went back to those same museums and I realized just how fundamental of a seed was planted at these places. Thank you to my parents and anyone else who has supported my growing into an artist.

Struggle and hardship come as a byproduct of being alive on Earth. Worry, nihilism, depression, and anxiety are words that characterize the headspace of many nowadays. Reinforced by an onslaught of negative information: decaying infrastructure, dishonest institutions, economic disenfranchisement, an exploited natural world. Instead of despair, I hope to use these powerful feelings to force action. Please join me in crafting the world we want to leave future generations.
